
In just two months, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Pasacao has recorded 205 job-seekers get hired to different establishments and 80 beneficiaries of the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES).
According to data from PESO Pasacao head PJ Arazas Jr., nine applicants were hired in July and 196 were hired in August in 2025. The applicants in August were hired at a major job fair conducted at the SigNature Park where Card Indogrosir Inc., Supervalue Inc., Stance Sales and Distributions, PKI Manufacturing and Technology, NATCORP Career Growth and Manpower Services Inc., Sincere Staff Management Services, Philippine Army, Consuelo “Chito” Madrigal Foundation Bikol, Inc., One Source General Solutions, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Camarines Sur Public Employment Service Office and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) conducted job interviews.
PESO Pasacao also welcomed 80 beneficiaries of SPES. The student-beneficiaries completed their 20-day temporary employment under the Municipal Government of Pasacao, Port Management Office, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Philippine National Police (PNP). SPES is a program by the DOLE that offers temporary employment opportunities for low-income but high-performing young individuals, particularly students and out-of-school youth.
PESO Pasacao also conducted three livelihood trainings – Technical Advisory Services for Micro Establishment, Skills Training on Resort Souvenir Novelty Clay Area, and Basic Computer Literacy Program to Upgrade the IT Skills of OFWs and their Families. These trainings benefitted 112 participants.
