The efforts done by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pasacao in the fight against illegal drugs has been recognized after it was included among the High Performing LGUs in Camarines Sur province at the 2025 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Audit.

The ADAC Performance Audit is an annual assessment conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to monitor, evaluate, and rate the functionality and effectiveness of LGUs in their anti-illegal drug efforts. It is also a tool to monitor the compliance of LGUs with existing anyi-illegal drug laws and policies.

Pasacao LGU is among the 33 towns that was deemed to have the highest scores in this assessment in Camarines Sur, owing to its implementation of anti-drug information drives and programs among the youth and continuous coordination with law enforcement in ridding the town of the influence of illegal drugs.

This recognition is proof that the Pasacao LGU, under incumbent Mayor Niño Tayco, is firm in its commitment in the fight against illegal drugs.
