PASACAO, Camarines Sur – It’s like the town fiesta just came rolling in with Christmas whenever Mayor Niño Tayco arrives with the wheel of the HATAW Kabuhayan Showcase livelihood and community raffle program.

The HATAW Kabuhayan Showcase, a program spearheaded by the Pasacao municipal government under the leadership of Mayor Tayco, continues to make the rounds of the barangays here, bringing livelihood showcase and opportunities to residents who join the games. Squeals of joy and excitement from residents usually follow the introduction of the carabao that is the grand prize of the raffle.
Mayor Tayco started the project under his flagship program HATAW Pasacao, an umbrella program that includes efforts for livelihood, industrialization, tourism development, enhanced delivery of government services, and environment protection and conservation. The program includes a short game “Spin to Win It” where the winners are given livelihood showcases of groceries, cash, and a carabao.
The HATAW Kabuhayan Showcase comes to the beneficiary barangays during their respective fiestas to further enliven the event.
According to Mayor Tayco, the program aims to add to the joy of the barangay fiesta celebrations, provide livelihood showcases for the residents to help them generate more income for their families, and give back to Pasaqueños for their continuous support of his administration as a returning mayor of Pasacao.
The HATAW Kabuhayan Showcase will keep visiting the 19 villages of Pasacao, bringing hope and happiness to Pasaqueños, the mayor said.
