All roads lead to Pasacao.

Dubbed as the Summer Capital of Camarines Sur the coastal municipality of Pasacao kicks off with its 10th Daruanak Festival on March 23 at the Pasacao Municipal Covered Courts and SigNature Park.

A fun walk event culminates the festival at 5:30 am where all participants have walked from the Pasacao Municipal Covered Courts going to the SigNature Park for the formal opening and Zumba Competition which highlights the Daruanak Festival at 6:30 am. In its opening program, Ms. Gladys B. Tipanero, the Municipal Tourism Officer, acknowledged the participants and followed immediately with the messages of Vice-Mayor Maryol O Tayco and Mayor Jorge R. Bengua. In his message, Bengua stressed that since Pasacao remains the undisputed summer capital of Camarines Sur, he strongly expressed his full support in all the tourism projects of the municipality.

Hon. Niño A. Tayco, the incumbent Board Member of the 2nd District of Camarines Sur and former Town Mayor of Pasacao graced the Daruanak Festival opening and gives his keynote address for the event among the participants. Highlighting the event was the ZUMBA competition. It was participated in by various fitness groups of Pasacao and the awarding ceremonies followed shortly after the competition.

Hon. Mariano R. Parco, Jr., the municipal councilor who also graced the festival opening gave his Closing Remarks which formally closes the kick off activity of the 10th Daruanak Festival.
