With this year’s theme; “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan.”, the Local Government Unit of Pasacao headed by Hon. Mayor, Jojo Bengua stages the 125th Philippine Independence with commemorative events along the Pasacao Signature Park.
The event was highlighted with an opening parade and motorcade along the key streets of the municipality. The said parade was participated in by various government agency, DepEd Officials and key schools from all levels, and barangays represented by its officials.
After the Civic Parade which kicked off from the Municipal Hall vicinity and culminated at the Pasacao Signature Park, a Filipiniana-inspired program was held. The event featured cultural presentations in songs, dances and public speaking which were rendered by various school representatives from the DepEd. The Independence Day Program was featured with Flag Raising Activity, and Wreath-laying event. A keynote message from the former-mayor now a Provincial Board Member, Hon. Niño A. Tayco capped the said event.
